Privacy Policy
G.A.M.Endeavors LLC, based in Minnesota, United States ("we," "us," or "our"), publishes Snakey Cave. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our game, visit snakeycave.com, open a shared game link, or contact us.
Your version matters. The current game stores scores and settings on your device. It has no accounts, advertising, in-app purchases, or analytics SDKs.
We plan to offer advertising and optional in-app purchases in a future release. The sections below describe those features conditionally; they apply only when a version offers them. We will update this policy with the actual advertising partners and data practices before enabling advertising.
1. Information we handle
Scores and settings on your device
The game saves your best score, display preference, and haptic preference locally. Normal gameplay in the current version does not send these values, gameplay events, or device identifiers to us. Your operating system may include app data in backups under its own settings and privacy practices.
Information you choose to share
If you share a score or invite friends, the game prepares a message, a link, or an image for the destination you choose. Score links include the score and whether it is a run score or a personal best. They may also identify the intended download platform. A score link does not include your name, email address, or a game account identifier. Anyone with the link can view its score, and a social network may display it in a public preview.
Copying a link places it on your device clipboard. Sharing an image may also copy the game link for you to attach to your post. "Send to Contact" uses a system picker to access the phone number you select and opens a message draft. We do not read your entire address book, store the selected number, or send messages for you. Score images are generated locally and may be held temporarily in app cache.
Website and shared-link requests
Cloudflare hosts our website and shared-link service. When you visit, Cloudflare processes information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as your IP address, requested URL and query parameters, browser and device information, request time, and security or traffic information. A shared-link URL can contain its score. Our link service uses that score to generate the page and preview image; it does not create a player profile or store the score in a leaderboard database.
Our website does not add advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party fonts or scripts to the privacy page. Cloudflare may process request data or use security technologies to operate its services. Its handling of that information is described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Support and privacy inquiries
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include, such as your name, message, device details, or screenshots. We use that information to answer you, investigate problems, and handle privacy requests. Please do not send payment card details or other sensitive information.
Permissions
The current game does not request location, camera, microphone, photo-library, or tracking access. Android uses the normal vibration permission for optional haptics. Optional contact selection and image sharing use system tools and limited access to the item you choose.
2. Advertising in future versions
Advertising is not enabled in the current game. In an ad-supported version, an advertising provider may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from an IP address, advertising or other permitted device identifiers, device and app information, consent choices, diagnostic data, and ad interactions such as impressions, clicks, and rewarded-ad completion. The purposes may include delivering and measuring ads, limiting repeat ads, preventing fraud, and providing an earned reward.
Personalized advertising, where offered, may involve linking information with activity from other apps or websites. We will seek consent where required before processing information for personalized advertising or accessing identifiers that require permission. On Apple devices, tracking across other companies' apps or websites will require permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Declining tracking permission will not prevent access to the game's core features.
Before advertising is enabled, we will identify the providers and any mediation partners here, link their privacy policies, explain the data they actually process, and provide applicable privacy choices. A non-personalized or limited ad can still require technical data to deliver the ad, measure it, and prevent fraud. Buying an ad-removal option, if offered, removes the ads described by that purchase; it does not delete previous records or stop information processing needed for purchases, support, or website security.
Possible future provider: Google AdMob. We may use Google AdMob to deliver ads in a future release; it is not currently integrated or collecting information through the game. If introduced, Google's handling of information will be described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We will update this section to confirm the integration and disclose any additional partners before they are used.
3. Optional in-app purchases
In-app purchases are not enabled in the current game. Versions that offer paid features will use the applicable platform's in-app purchase system, such as Apple App Store or Google Play billing. The store processes payment details under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment card number.
When purchases are available, the app, and a purchase-validation service if one is introduced and disclosed in this policy, may process product identifiers, transaction identifiers or purchase tokens, receipts, purchase time, and purchase or entitlement status. This information is used to provide and restore paid features, verify transactions, prevent fraud, and address purchase-related support requests. The exact features and data flows will be disclosed when they are introduced.
You can use your store account to manage purchases and any subscriptions a version offers. Uninstalling the game does not cancel a subscription. Payment records held by a store are subject to that store's retention and deletion practices.
4. How we use information
- Keep local scores and preferences and provide optional sharing.
- Deliver website pages, score previews, and download links.
- Respond to support and privacy inquiries.
- Deliver and verify optional paid features or advertising rewards when offered.
- Operate and protect our services, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
Where European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or similar data-protection rules apply, we rely on the legal basis appropriate to the activity: providing a service you request, our legitimate interests in operating secure services and responding to inquiries, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where required. You can withdraw consent for processing based on consent; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
5. When information is shared
Information may be handled by service providers that help us deliver the service, such as Cloudflare for hosting and security and our email provider for support correspondence. Apple and Google handle app distribution and, when offered, purchases. Advertising providers will be identified before advertising is enabled. We require third parties with whom we share app user data to provide protection at least equivalent to the protections described in this policy and required by applicable app-store rules and law.
When you choose to open a store, website, messaging app, or social network, that service receives the information needed for the action you request and applies its own privacy practices. We do not control posts or messages after you send them.
We may disclose information when legally required, to protect people's safety or our legal rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of our business, subject to applicable protections.
We do not sell personal information for money. If future personalized advertising constitutes a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable state law, we will describe that activity and provide the required opt-out choices before it begins. Those advertising activities do not occur in the current game.
Relevant provider policies: Cloudflare, Apple, and Google.
6. Retention, deletion, and security
Local scores and preferences remain until app data is removed. You can delete app data using the available device controls or uninstall the game. Backups may retain a separate copy; manage those through your operating system or backup provider. We cannot remotely access or delete data that exists only on your device.
Temporary share images may remain in app cache until it is cleared or removed. Shared messages and posts remain under the control of their recipients or the receiving service. Public preview images may be cached by Cloudflare or a social network.
We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to answer inquiries, resolve issues, and satisfy applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements, then delete it or remove identifying details. When purchases are introduced, records we hold will be kept only as needed to verify entitlements, address disputes, and meet applicable accounting or legal requirements. Providers, including Cloudflare and app stores, apply their own retention rules to information they process for their own purposes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle, including HTTPS for our website and limiting access to support correspondence. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy choices and rights
You can choose not to share scores, use the contact picker, make purchases, or contact us. You can clear local app data and manage operating-system backups. Where advertising is available, use the game's privacy options and your device's advertising and tracking settings to manage available choices. Device settings alone may not withdraw every consent given to an advertising provider.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of targeted advertising or sale/sharing. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request or complain to your local data-protection authority. We will honor applicable rights without unlawful discrimination.
Email info@snakeycave.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you would like to do. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your request. An authorized agent may contact us where permitted by law. We can act on information we hold; for information held independently by a platform or provider, we may direct you to its request process. There is currently no Snakey Cave account to delete.
8. Children's privacy
Snakey Cave is available to players of all ages. The current game has no advertising, accounts, analytics SDKs, or in-app purchases and keeps normal gameplay data on the device. Parents and guardians should supervise optional sharing and external links.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under a higher age where applicable law requires parental consent, without the required parental consent. We will not knowingly use children's information for personalized advertising or cross-app tracking. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact info@snakeycave.com so we can investigate and delete it when required.
Before enabling advertising for this audience, we will apply the required age-appropriate safeguards, advertising restrictions, and parental-consent measures and update this policy to describe that version. Ads shown to children or players whose age is unknown will be appropriate for children, will not use interest-based targeting or remarketing, and will use advertising SDKs permitted for that audience. Any age distinction will use an appropriate neutral age screen or other compliant safeguards before restricted data is collected.
9. International processing
We are based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws differ from those in your country. Where required, we use the safeguards applicable to those transfers, such as appropriate contractual protections.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as features and information practices change. We will revise the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice of material changes where required. If a new use requires consent, we will request it before that use begins. The latest policy is available at snakeycave.com/privacy.
